Trine Builders is renovating the historic Westerfeld Building and completing select improvements to Hannah Chapel at Rayne Memorial United Methodist Church in New Orleans. Built in 1875, Rayne Memorial has long been a landmark on St. Charles Avenue, and the Westerfeld Building, completed in 1924, has been an important part of the church campus for many years. The project includes repairs to storm-damaged areas, interior renovations for more flexible use and youth programming, accessibility upgrades, restroom and support space improvements, selective structural and MEP work, and exterior improvements including a new ADA-friendly sidewalk along Pitt Street. The work is being completed in phases so portions of the campus can remain in use during construction.
